Never a Dull Moment

I'm sure that most of you back at work and some of you even have students! I spent the last 2 weeks working with 2 school districts in Florida. I developed a reading intervention model (grades 3-5) for one district and conducted a Kindergarten institute for another. I never get tired of the excitement that each new year brings. We took my son, Harrison back to school this past week end...he was moving into his first apartment at the University of South Carolina. Anyone out there from Columbia? I would love to keep a closer eye on him! As we were driving home, the double axile trailer disconnected from the hitch..let's just say that I almost ended my consulting career. By God's grace, my husband managed to get us off the road safely.Nothing in my life is ever boring! Talk to you soon!
Best,
Beverly

Happy New School Year!

It is hard to believe that it is already time for a new year to begin.. I just returned from Costa Rica with my family. We were visiting my daughter Susan, who is a missionary there. I am back on the road training teachers prior to school openings. This week I have been in Chattanooga, TN (my home), Newport News, Virginia, and Morristown, TN. I am leaving tomorrow for Florida where I will be working with the WaltonCounty and Santa RosaSchool Districts. Much of my work is now centering around Small Group Differentiated Reading Instruction in Tier 1, 2, and 3 instruction. Talk to you soon!

Best Reading Wishes,

Beverly
